Needed a vehicle inspection just after New Years. I hadn’t been to this mechanic before as I have only recently moved to the area. It was a super hot day and Glen was working by himself and flat out being the first day back after the Christmas/New Year break. He was super helpful and welcoming! Service is great! Will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Harley (and the team) are friendly and no-nonsense - gave me an upfront estimate of cost for repairs and kept me informed throughout the process.When I collected my car, I was surprised with the final cost as I expected it to be way more (broken oil cooler replacement, full radiator flush and clean, plus a normal service), and they also washed and cleaned my car! I will happily recommend GS Mechanical for anyone who wants upfront estimates, no "hidden costs", and friendly customer service.

Had logbook service and pinkslip safety check... Was reasonably priced and work carried out was professionally done... Car was washed and cleaned at no extra charge.I do recommend using their services as they take the time to discuss the repairs carried out and future maintenance that may be needed.

Highly recommended - I'll never take my car anywhere else in Newcastle! Very reasonably priced, fantastic customer service and they detail your car with every service. I work at Charlestown and they give me a lift to and from work whenever I leave my car with them.

I recently had my wife's car serviced at GS Mechanics Newcastle and was beyond impressed. From start to finish GS's commitment to customer service and professionalism was exceptional.I was easily able to book online via their website to have my car serviced. This booking allowed them to give me a lift to where I needed to go once I had dropped off my car. I was also given a lift back when the car service was finished.Not only did they service the car in a very reasonable amount of time and cost, but they had managed to turn my wife's dirty (she never washed it), neglected car into a vehicle that almost looked brand new (inside and out).I now plan on taking my car to GS Mechanics Newcastle everytime I need work done and would definitely recommend using them. Whether you need a small or major car service or are simply looking for a Newcastle mechanic you can trust.
